Universe: G1.
Rating: PG-13.
Pairing: Optimus Prime/Ratchet with reference to Elita One/Optimus Prime.

Author's Notes: If pressed, I would insist this is transformative, an experiment in style. Each line should be read slowly, a heartbeat or two allowed between them as thoughts come slowly from a weary being. April 2008 entry at Mecha_Erotica. 1700 words.

He comes to me again... )

Afterthought: This should be taken in parallel with Break from Habit. The analogy struck me.

Happy to report that Husband got home last Friday and after his absence for over seven weeks, two days was not enough, but I went to work Monday anyway.

He immediately started fussing at me that my arm should have been all better by now and why hadn't I been back to the doctor yet? )

Title: Forget You Have a Root-mode

Universe: loosely G1 cartoon. Sequel to What You're Not Doing and Just Call Me.

Rated: NC-17 for detailed intimacy, physical and otherwise, between mechanical beings. Runs to plug-n-play, then sparks get involved.

Pairing: Ironhide/Swoop, established.

Author's Note: Plot? What plot?!? The Mile High Club challenge entry, March, at Mecha Erotica. 4200 words.

-:- radio transmission -:-

At least Prowl's work with that Undersecretary of Defense finally paid off... )

...but the object of his fascination would give me away, so the Sunny in my head-space didn't get an entry in the Mile High Club at M_E. Somebody made it up to him though, and how: he got to have jet-judo and overload all in the same skirmish. Can't beat that!

Especially when, in my universe, all he can do right now is dream...

Title: What Moves the Sun

Universe: loosely G1 cartoon. Since the sequel to Approaching the Origin is taking much longer to write than I anticipated, I offer this for insight into Focus of the Sun. This occurs about a week before that scene.

Rating: PG-13 for language and implications.

Pairing: Looking toward a new one for Sunstreaker, but presently implying Bluestreak/Sideswipe and Bluestreak/Sideswipe/Sunstreaker.

You didn't think Sunstreaker would just out and tell anyone what was going on with him, did you? )

Universe: loosely G1 cartoon. Sequel to Anything You Like and Something About You, contains foreshadowing for the episode Triple Takeover.

Rated: R for physical intimacy between mechanical beings, including plug-n-play.

Pairing: Astrotrain/Cobweb.

Author's Notes: Only Cobweb (nicknamed 'Enny') is mine, all else belong to corporations. Astrotrain thought the March challenge at Mecha_Erotica, The Mile High Club, was written for him, but Cobweb's presence would give away the author. The goal was NC-17 and Plot? What Plot?!?, yet it didn't happen that way: there's too much going on in their world. 4100 words.

Astrotrain found himself wanting to do everything... )

It Was Good For You Too - check it out! Marian's other work is shiny, too, but ... wow! She said it was a slinky-dress song, and she was right. She should be, she wrote it.

I won't apologize because I know that it was good for you, too.

Saw her play with the Bedlam Bards last weekend at ArtCat's place. Very good time. Strange, to be without Husband, but fun, almost despite myself.

Universe: 2007movie-verse, post-movie.

Rating: R for intimacy between mechanical beings. Beware angst and spoilers. Pairing: Jazz/Optimus.

February 2008 Banner

Banner by VejiRaziel.

Author's Notes: Not G1, they said. )So, because Ironhide told Jazz in the book, Ghosts of Yesterday, "If you get your Spark extinguished, I'll have to hear about it from Prime for the next couple of millennia," we have this. And I can claim another challenge victory. Paragraphs in italics describe past events, memories interspersed with the present. 3500 words.

And Rusty provided beta-reading service for me. Girl! "Not G-1." Pshah! Whose idea was that? You're still evil, but in a fun and spunky kind of way! XD

...she asked a simple question... )

Title: Love Shared Is Multiplied

Universe: loosely G1 cartoon.

Rating: R.

Pairing: Bluestreak/Sideswipe leading to Bluestreak/Sideswipe/Sunstreaker. References to Sideswipe/Sunstreaker and each with others.

Author's Notes: Because Focus of the Sun got Bluestreak talking, we have this, a prequel, which was an entry for the First Times challenge at Mecha Erotica in January. I didn't like Bluestreak very much, but since that request Rusty made for Christmas, he has really won me over. (What to Live for.) It's easy to see why the 'Cons had to target the neutrals first: with steady patience and unstinting love, they would only prolong the war. As always, if you recognize it from canon, it's not mine. 2600 words.

You haven't been yourself today... )

-:-As of 13APR2008, there is another story that falls between this and Focus of the Sun, called What Moves the Sun.

Title: Focus of the Sun

Universe: loosely G1 cartoon.

Rating: PG-13 for language and implications.

Pairing: None yet. References to Blaster/Sunstreaker and Bluestreak/Sideswipe/Sunstreaker. Jazz/Prowl speculated.

Author's Notes: Sunstreaker has to deal with survivor's guilt, which has evolved into a crush on a mech who has been in stasis awaiting rebuild. This was brewing for a while, and nearly ready for January's First Times challenge at Mecha_Erotica, but needed more time. Rusty Chevy (aka SpaceHappy at DeviantArt) provided invaluable beta and encouragement. As always, if you recognize it from canon, it's not mine. 2800 words.

There's a first time for everything... )

-:-As of 08MAR2008, this has a prequel: Love Shared Is Multiplied.-:-

-:-And if you've read that one, it has another prequel as of 13APR2008: What Moves the Sun happens after Love Shared Is Multiplied and before Focus of the Sun.

Last night, I had a package in the mail. It was from Rusty and it had the necklace in it! I was all a-SQUEE over it, especially when I got farther down into the box - she had turned it into a care-package! )

Rusty, you are made of awesome!

Universe: loosely G1 cartoon. Sequel to Anything You Like. Also follows the events of Skimming the Surface and Break from Habit.

Rated: NC-17 for detailed physical intimacy between mechanical beings, including plug-n-play, and a graphic description of what amounts to child abuse, past. GRAPHIC.

Pairing: Astrotrain/Cobweb.

I was finally allowed Cobweb's POV... )

As of 06APR2008, this has a sequel: Everything For You.

ArtCat and RedFeather1 gave me a present today, something that ArtCat said she saw in passing at Office Depot and immediately thought of me. It is a pen bearing an Autobot symbol at its end with a little rubber figure of movie-Prime attached. It is marked with his name and "Transformers" along the shaft in a flame motif. It is very shiny.

Thank you both!

I had to take pictures of it. )

Universe: loosely G1 cartoon surrounding Astrotrain's transfer to Earth.

Rated: NC-17 for detailed physical intimacy between mechanical beings. Mention of abuse, long past.

Pairing: Astrotrain/Enny; brief reference to Astrotrain/Guardian femme.

Warning: Notable size discrepancy, on the order of a Dinobot with a Minibot.

Author's Notes: Never mine, except for Enny and that MiG-29 Fulcrum. 7090 words. A version of this story was an entry for the under-loved challenge in November, 2007, at Mecha_Erotica.

Astrotrain knew he was being used. )

As of 21JAN08, this has a sequel, Something About You.

Universe: loosely G1 cartoon, just before the episode Triple Take Over. This is fourth in the series started in Skimming the Surface, after Under the Plating and Down to the Casing.

Rating: PG, straying into PG-13 for implied substance abuse and suspected child abuse.

Pairing: Jazz/Prowl in the background, and maybe Astrotrain/Cobweb, if you hold your mouth right.

Author's Notes: Starrunner and Cobweb are my offspring, my beloved children. All others belong to acronyms. 9620 words.

-:-radio transmission-:-

The sense of panic wore off... )

Universe: loosely G1 cartoon. This follows the events of Primary Mover and, more immediately, Down to the Casing, overlapping events in Approaching the Origin.

Rated: R for intimacy between mechanical beings, plug-n-play for communication and reassurance.

Pairing: Jazz/Prowl.

Author's Notes: You know I don't own any of them. My OC is unable to make an appearance, although his story is the backdrop for this. 4900 words.

Swoop could not keep him in the med bay... )

As promised to Wyntir Rose over a month ago, now...

Character Meme!

  1. Choose a few of your own characters. Five at the most.
  2. Make them answer the following questions.
  3. Tag three people.

Feel free to go ahead and add some questions yourself!

-:-Starrunner-:-Cobweb-:-Mitzi-:- )

I don't feel up to tagging anyone tonight - these three took it out of me! If you like what I've done with the meme, take it and leave me a note so I don't miss seeing it in your journal.

Title: What to Live for, a Christmas gift for Rusty Chevy who asked for Jazz/NotProwl.

Rating: NC-17 for detailed physical intimacy between mechanical beings including plug-n-play. Brief description of non-con in the recent past.

Pairing: Jazz/Bluestreak, references to each with others, past.

Note: Hurt/comfort. Rusty asked for Jazz/NotProwl. Bluestreak stood up and said, "I know something about Jazz you don't know Lora let me tell you. Jazz is amazing he's the reason I put on the Autobot badge your friend wi-" Whoo. 6900 words.

He could not recharge. )

Meme from Purajo

  1. Grab the nearest book. Don't you dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual" book in your closet! I know you were thinking about it! Just pick up whatever is closest (unless it's too troublesome to reach and is really heavy).
  2. Open the book to page 123.
  3. Find the fifth sentence.
  4. Post the text of the next 4-7 sentences on your LJ along with these instructions.
  5. Tag five people.

Explorer by C.J. Cherryh, because although I should be studying or working on the ficbit I promised LS, I'm not. (I'm a schmuck.)

"You think so, do you?"

"You've told us Ramirez was up to something. I'm sure Ogun knew it. I know you knew it. I know you and Ogun aren't precisely on the same program. But if you like the idea of turning yourself and your ship and crew over to the people that have gotten this station in need of a rescue, you're flat crazy, and I don't think that's the case."

On with the tagging! ArtCat, CaraVanKa, Rusty Chevy, Oasis, and Whirlwind.

Who knew page 123 would be interesting?

They talk like vampires. They look like elves. They sing like they are seven feet tall.

This is what Husband said last night towards the end of the Nightwish concert. It was awesome. No, THEY were awesome.

Paradise Lost opened for them. ) The new femme was chosen well. )

If Nightwish plays in your area, I highly recommend going and paying the price the next day. Well worth it.

Title: Just Call Me

Universe: loosely G1 cartoon, with one particular idea pilfered from the UK comics. Sequel to What You're Not Doing

Rated: R for physical intimacy between mechanical beings.

Pairing: Ironhide/Swoop, established.

Warning: it started off silly - Is that the definition of 'fluff'? - because Swoop got wrapped up in a song - Does that make it a song-fic? - but there is a continuation of plot(s).

Author's Note: Oh, I do wish they were all mine! Starrunner is my creature, but has only a cameo in this story. 5550 words.

But I like Juice Newton... )

As of 25APR2008, this has a sequel, Forget You Have a Root-mode.

Title: Down to the Casing

Universe: loosely G1 cartoon after the appearance of the Constructicons on Earth.

Rated: PG, so K+.

Pairing: None. Jazz/Prowl in the background if you squint.

Author's Notes: Recognizable Characters/Names belong to Hasbro/Takara. I’m just playing with them. Starrunner is my offspring.

Title: Down to the Casing

Sequel to Skimming the Surface and Under the Plating

Universe: loosely G1 cartoon after the appearance of the Constructicons on Earth.

Rated: PG, so K+.

Pairing: None. Jazz/Prowl in the background if you squint.

Author's Notes: Recognizable Characters/Names belong to Hasbro/Takara. I’m just playing with them. Starrunner is my offspring. 13300 words.

Title: Know the Mystery - an entry for August 2007 at Mecha_Erotica that had no other takers.
Universe: G1 cartoon.
Rated: PG-13 for the notions of sensual spirituality and xenosexuality.
Pairing: Cybertronian Mech/Womanly Deity.
Author's Note: If you recognize it from Transformers canon, it belongs to Has/Tak/IDW; if you recognize the rest, I say 'Blessed be thou!' 850 words.

Mirage_Banner

VejiRaziel made this excellent banner for it as she cleared the back-log (26APR2008), so I decided to re-link it. *shrug* Call me an attention-whore. I write mechasmut, I can take it! ;-)

Mirage was drawn to the place... )

Saw Transformers last night on IMAX. Definitely worth it. Not for the additional few minutes - no extra images of the real stars of the show - but because the detail is amazing. AMAZING. The sound in the IMAX theatre was also better than the theatres we'd seen it in around Houston so we were better able to hear dialog over the action, better able to understand Bumblebee as he recovered his vocalizer.

Most of the additional tidbits could have stayed on the cutting-room floor for my taste - I wanted more Transformer screen time - but the detail visible in the larger format was just spectacular. Well worth it.

Thanks to Krimson_65 for turning me on to this.

Might as well be The Autobot Ballad, with lyrics like this:

-:- -:- -:- -:- -:- -:- -:- -:- -:- -:- -:- -:- -:- -:- -:- -:-
When the time has come to stand for the power we believe
We will ring the sound of victory for one and all to see
Sometimes in your darkest dreams you will feel the haunting prayer
Silent tears of your hidden fears come to haunt you once again
Fight on for the memories of the everlasting dream
Their pain in the silent lands on wings of glory free
We can go on forever with the darkness so far away
And the warriors who live forever fight on to the end...
-:- -:- -:- -:- -:- -:- -:- -:- -:- -:- -:- -:- -:- -:- -:- -:-
Our journey ever onwards fight until we all be free
Through the darkness shining the never ending light
On through the days of glory rise to-wards the fight...

I came to the party too late to enter the January WTF challenge, but the anniversary "Grab Bag" edition allowed me a chance to try it anyway. I do love Ironhide!

Ironhide Banner Hosted at Photobucket

Once again, Challenge by Mecha_Erotica, Banner by Wrongly_Amused.

Many thanks to Rusty Chevy for the beta-read! Without her help, I might have revealed the identity of Ironhide's admirer prematurely.

What You're Not Doing actually came from a bit of Firefly fanfiction I first read in early 2003 over at the Firefly's Glow Archive, when I first discovered fanfiction because I just had to have more Firefly. I believe it was Eleanor K's Zoe who gave Mal a hard time, first asking him what he was doing with the young doctor and then, when he protested that he wasn't doing anything with Simon, she said, "Well, maybe that's the problem then, because any fool can plainly see he wants you to." I had to send Ironhide there.

Universe: G1 cartoon.

Rated: NC-17 for detailed physical intimacy between mechanical beings, 'plug-n-play' discussed.

Pairing: Ironhide/a trainee.

Author's Note: Recognizable Characters/Names belong to corporations; I’m just playing with them.

Title: Primary Mover

Universe: loosely G1 cartoon. This overlaps the events of Under the Plating.

Rated: R, for intimacy between mechanical beings.

Pairing: Jazz/Prowl.

Author's Notes: You know I don't own any of them. My OC's name isn't even mentioned, because his story is just the backdrop for this. 3300 words.

Things Starrunner doesn't need to know. )

As of 29DEC2007, this has a sequel, Secondary Concerns: Reason, Sense and Logic.

Back from vacay. It always surprises me just how much I enjoy driving two days to get there and two days to get back. I get to see so many pretties on the highway. My favorites still have names like Peterbilt. Kenworth. Freightliner. International. Volvo. Western Star. Ford. Mack.

I think they may have stopped making cab-overs. In four days and nearly 4000 miles on the road, I maybe saw 3. But the conventionals are shiny, literally and figuratively. And looking at them all, and enjoying the feeling of movement in my little car, somehow rekindled my interest in my job.

We're building a space ship and that makes us mighty. )

...and I won the Megatron challenge because of him! I'm not a 'Con fangirl, but they have their own stories to tell.

Banners make me happy:

Movie Megatron Banner hosted at Photobucket

If you don't recognize him, that's movie Megs, which struck me as odd because both entries in the challenge featured G1 Megatron, but it's still fun and much appreciated. Wrongly_Amused did a good job with him. The original posting was made at Mecha Erotica: Entry #2. You can read it behind the cut below.

This actually takes place between two of my other stories, Skimming the Surface and Under the Plating. What do you think the Seekers were up to while they were out?
